Today's Vocabulary Word

Note: I had meant to maintain this on a daily basis but during a recent trip my laptop stopped working so I gave up on that commitment but will tend to this as often as I reasonably can.

Today's Vocabulary Word: alacrity

After my last entry I decided to go with something much simpler yet widely misused or unknown. Alacrity means with great eagerness or speed.

Example:

He was hoping to have a worry-free Sunday so on Friday night he attacked his report, that was due on Monday, with alacrity.
